喜马拉雅分类总逻辑 2016 Edition   

缘起 ORIGIN


本系列起源于已故美国登山协会(AAC)专家胡伯特.亚当斯.卡特(H.Adams.Carter)先生于1985年整理编撰的《喜马拉雅分类1985版》(Classification of Himalaya 1985),以下简称85版分类


This series originated from the <Classification of Himalaya 1985>, compiled by the late American Alpine Club (AAC) expert H. Adams Carter in 1985 (hereinafter referred to as the 1985 classification).


目的是根据水系、垭口、或其他地理界线,将喜马拉雅山系(Himalayas)拆解为各独立次级山段,对分类后各区域的地理、人文、自然和社会环境做独立认识、分析和理解


The aim was to break down the Himalayas into independent sub-mountain ranges based on river systems, passes, or other geographical boundaries, and to provide an independent understanding, analysis, and interpretation of the geographical, human, natural, and social environments of each region after classification.


《16版分类》,是作者根据《85版分类》所主张的喜马拉雅山系全域分类标准,结合当前地理认知的进步,以及本人实地考察结果,重新编撰的关于介绍喜马拉雅山系各独立区域,以及青藏高原周边各山系详细情况的综合性人文地理深度解读系列


The <Classification of Himalaya 2016 Edition> is a comprehensive, in-depth human geography series rewritten by the author based on the comprehensive classification standards of the Himalayas advocated in the 1985 classification, combined with current advancements in geographical understanding and the author's own field research results. It offers an in-depth examination of the independent regions of the Himalayas and the surrounding mountain ranges, including the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.


因项目始于2016年,故暂称《喜马拉雅分类2016版》


Since the project began in 2016. Therefore, it is tentatively titled <Classification of Himalaya 2016 Edition>.


《16版分类》的研究,全部基于实地考察,旨在以主要水系、垭口、地理低点等显著地理分界线为逻辑依据,对青藏高原、喜马拉雅山系进行分类拆解,形成各独立山段并个别观察分析


The research for the <Classification of Himalaya 2016 Edition> is entirely based on field investigations. It aims to classify and break down the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the Himalayas into independent mountain segments, using major river systems, mountain passes, and geographical low points as logical criteria, and then conduct individual observation and analysis.


该项目预期将有助于从细节上观察、了解、分析喜马拉雅各地区的自然地理、社会人文、民族宗教、环境生态等多方面,从而构建喜马拉雅地区世界观的底层逻辑,并探索和理解地理环境对人类活动带来的深刻影响,以及表现生态环境多样性对人类社会存续发展的积极意义


This project is expected to contribute to the detailed observation, understanding, and analysis of the natural geography, socio-cultural aspects, ethnic and religious groups, and environmental ecology of various regions of the Himalayas. This will help construct the underlying logic of the Himalayan worldview, explore and understand the profound impact of the geographical environment on human activities, and demonstrate the positive significance of ecological diversity for the survival and development of human society.
